Drivography Support
Drivography scores how smoothly you drive using your mobile phone's sensors. Would your passenger's drink spill?
Get help
Email support@drivography.com. We read every message.
It helps if you include:
- your phone model and operating system version
- what you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- roughly when the drive happened (we do not see your routes, so your description is all we have)
- your @handle, if you have turned on sync
Common questions
Why does the app need location access all the time?
So that trips can start recording on their own when you start driving. Your routes and locations stay on your phone. See the privacy policy.
A drive did not record, or looks wrong
Check that location access is set to "Always", that motion access is allowed, and that background app refresh is on. Do not swipe the app away, because the phone then stops trip detection until you open the app again. Very short drives (under 2 km or under 8 minutes) are recorded but do not count toward your score.
What does cloud sync send?
The score for each drive and the numbers used to work it out. It does not send routes, locations or raw sensor readings. Sync is off until you turn it on. It gives you an anonymous @handle for adding friends and the leaderboard.
How do I delete my data?
Go to Settings, then Account & sync, then Delete account. This deletes your data from our server straight away. Your drives stay on your phone, and deleting the app removes those too.
Deleting a single drive removes its route and details from your phone, but its score stays in your history.
Why did deleting a bad drive not raise my score?
A drive's score stays in your history even after you delete the drive's details. This is on purpose, so that nobody can improve their score by deleting bad drives.
Beta
Drivography is in beta, and the leaderboard is marked BETA. We are still fine tuning the scoring, so expect scores to improve between versions.
